City Cruising

So now that I got back my bicycle, spontaneous adrenaline came rushing out of my glands into my blood (too much Biology) – this time I will not park my bicycle anymore! (Fuck you thief!)

Here’s the picture chronology of my trip around Singapore!

Here are the essentials: First Aid Bag cum my camera holder, map of singapore, handphone in case I get lost or any mishaps, my bicycle key and my tumbler!  Posted by Hello

Kallang River and the City's reflection - behind me is the National Stadium Posted by Hello

Rangoon Road... Near Serangoon...Hei wait a minute.. it looked far from the map but... hei it's god damn near! Posted by Hello

Some SIkh Temple I stumbled upon near Boon Keng station Posted by Hello

I got worried - Farrer Park station? That's like along the North East Line - and I thought that's damn far!  Posted by Hello

Wow nearing Bukit Timah Rd - a historical WW2 road - I have a feeling I'm nearing Orchard hehe... hope my instincts are correct!  Posted by Hello

The lanes are going towards Newton and Woodlands - WOODLANDS?!?! Shit was I at the near Malaysia? Haha not really was along some expressway actually... yes nearing Orchard! Dad would kill me if he saw this!  Posted by Hello

Oh my god I've reached Orchard!!! I'm along Scotts Road actually... you know the Scotts Food Court in KLCC? Well here's where it all came from! Next to me is Far East Plaza (didn't take a picture) but they sell a lot of teenage hip hop ah beng lian kinda stuff! Posted by Hello

That's Shaw Tower - their Cineplex is within the building. Us scholars go there quite often for a movie...  Posted by Hello

Post Bicycle Lost Grief: Singapore Motorshow 2004

Not that I am a big fan of cars… but I just had to get myself out of this shit hole a.k.a. my hostel on Sunday! Not forgetting wanting to put my mind off the TrAgIc lost of my beloved bicycle (Fuck you thief I will remember this for life!)

As usual I went alone… no one in the hostel to teman. It was held at Suntec (recalls yesterday… Fuck you thief!)

Was fortunate enough to get hold of the last ticket to watch Russ Swift, this stunt man who can do stunts on his Subaru. That’s the good thing of being alone; no one wants the LAST REMAINDING ticket!

Here are some pics… not that I know how good the cars are, but they looked pretty and nice enough for my taste and preference! The car chicks are not that pretty considering I’ve seen Justin and Daryl’s motorshow trips pics!

This was the first car that caught my attention upon entering the exhibition... love the colour and the doors! Woohoo!! Posted by Hello

The Mazda chicks and its RX8... Mazda was giving out the biggest goodie bag i've seen in my life! Don't have the pic of the bag though Posted by Hello

Russell Swift and I, I got him to sign three fans for me - yup one for me, the other for justin and the last for daryl... consider it my Christmas gift alright? Posted by Hello

Yamaha chick on their bikes... got that act-cute face plus her hairstyle remind me bit of a jap... Posted by Hello

Must definitely take a pic of ferraris Posted by Hello

I'm surprise to see Proton here... proton and lotus that is... Posted by Hello

Mercedes was another go-all-out booth... showing off all their classic collections and the founders... Hah bet i know more about the founders than Daryl now! Posted by Hello

I think Toyota is trying to potray family brand - all the chicks are decently dressed compared to others! There are even guys posing! Posted by Hello

2nd theft of my beloved bicycle!

There I was happily riding my bicycle all the way to the city. Feeling unsafe due to the traffic congestion, I parked it at Bugis MRT bicycle stand and took a train to Suntec for a stroll. And upon my return…

WTF? Why no bicycles one…

Fuck you thief… and I thought Singapore was safe?

The police and MRT personnel weren’t helpful either:

“Please come to the nearest police station to report… that would be in Little India”

Right like I knew where that was.

“I don’t know lei, the person-in-charge isn’t here today”

WTF? Forget it, I couldn’t be bothered then to increase the country’s statistics in bicycle theft. Worst, I didn’t want my parents to know about this too…

- Fuck you first thief, you think I forgot about you? -

So I went to Paya Lebar to buy another bicycle – a more expensive one, but looks similar to the one I had… there goes my budget…

Oh and bro, don’t tell mum and dad about this ok? :P
