OKLA I UPDATE!

life in Singapore, wrong a Singapore University has been VERY hectic. There was no point in time when I actually had the time to just lie on bed and have a cup of tea by myself. There's no ME TIME and I WANT ME TIME! Nevertheless, most <-----MOST people have been treating me rather well. I have made new friends, bitched about new bitches, and stared cock at many island republic residents.

I live @ Block A Sheares Hall! We call ourselves the Acers! And in Sheares (and most probably all halls in the university), each block has its own culture. Our culture includes two palm trees (one died), 'Who's Your Daddy', and the Banana people!

Some say it looks like a Condo. Must fit the architecture design around the housing area here ma!

*Sheares and Kent Ridge Hall are located along Heng Mui Keng Terrace, along the Pasir Panjang Road housing area.

Kailin and Jolene finally meet!

Scholars finally met up with Jolene!

As of now, they are of separate entities. But life goes on.

AND OF COURSE...

My girlfriend came to SINGAPORE!

Thanks to her, I didn't get sunburnt and voice degradation (Sheares went to Sentosa and had Games during the weekend she came down)

See, preparing to carry her during our wedding LOL

We blocked the whole Scotts Road trying to get this picture taken.

Chun Leen and I were fascinated by Kailin's Mat Kool shades.

Mat Kool Mat Kool Kawanku, Mari Kita Main Mat Kool!

Main-main Selalu! Syoknya syoknya ADA MAT KOOL!

And of course, we could see each other, nothing but each other.

And of all the other interesting things that happened, I shall tell you everything unchronologically!

I applied to be part of the NUS Radio Deejay Group called Radio Pulze. I was glad that they called me for an audition one Thursday afternoon. And me being a Science geek, didn't know my way around the Arts Fac. So,

I GOT LOST IN THE ART FACULTY.

I randomly asked people where wherever I was supposed to go. None of them seem to know where it was.

BLOODY NUS PEOPLE DON'T KNOW YOUR CAMPUS WELL.

I decided to be a tourist. I took out the 'Guide to NUS' MAP to get my bearings right.

I was late, who cares.

So I finally made it to the Studio, and they 'auditioned' or more like chatted with me. The studio is kinda small, but looks like what I expect to be... Backdoor, Mac-Friendly, International! LOL
After that they recorded my voice, to hear whether I sound clear and nice on the waves I guess!

So after a week, despite the Chairman only smiling at me when he saw me at the Arts Food Court (After that day you can see me hanging out at Arts very often :P),

I GOT INTO RADIOPULZE!

I'll start off as production, and see how it goes for the next 4 years!

I haven't been updating in awhile.

Well as you all know, I got the ASEAN Scholarship to pursue my university education in the Lion City.

Well I am here now, starting afresh, meeting new people and probably making a fool out of myself again.

I live in #$%^&*( Hall of NUS, and I LOVE MY ROOM! Pics up soon!

Until then, orientation begins today - let the rag begin!

The drama and suspense

It was just one of those days when you woke up because you had to because if not your body would just continue rotting in bed. I instantly on my laptop to check whether my porn has finished downloading to check my email.

There was one email with the topic:

ASEAN-NUS Scholarship....

That caught my eye...

OMFG EMOTICON!

Dear LAM CHEE KIANG

We would like to congratulate you on been offered the ASEAN Undergraduate Scholarship for study in the undergraduate course at NUS.

Kindly collect the offer from our office when you reach NUS.

I got ASEAN!

no wait...

I GOT ASEAN SCHOLARSHIP!

  1. means my parents don't have to pay for my tuition fees
  2. means I will have allowance by the Singapore government every month
  3. means I can actually loosen my budget a bit
  4. means I can come home more often because I have more money!
  5. means I can see my girlfriend more often and shower her with gifts love

I HAVE ASEAN SCHOLARSHIP!

I called my dad, he said: EH YOU SO LUCKY ONE!?

I was thinking, he is right. I got this offer last minute - most probably due to all the other better scholars who reject the scholarship as they accept other better ones i.e. Oxford, Harvard, Cambridge. So with the extra funds - might else well dump to me!

DONE. FULLSTOP. NO INTERVIEW. NO NOTHING!

NTU PLAY HARD TO GET need interview one pfffffft.

In NUS there's this NUS-Exchange Program while in NTU there's the Global Immersion Program. Both programs allow students to do a few semesters in another university, obtaining the credits and transferring them back to their respective courses back in the little-red-dot.

And apparently NUS can exchange with NTU.

ANUS: Oh I'm exchanging to Jurong

NTiu: KEWL! I'm exchanging to Buona Vista!

-_-"

FYI: NUS is somewhat located in Buona Vista while NTU is located in Jurong

I'LL BE ROBBING SINGAPOREAN TAX MONEY!

I Love You

I'm sure many of you have read my girlfriend's blog and was astonished by her and another person's recent entry.

I'm here to thank everyone who has supported my girlfriend in standing up for her. Though it was clear-cut to whom we should side.

Blogging was created in the hope that expression, creativity and freedom of speech can be exercised -- but with limits.

When you write about someone else in your next article, think about how that individual and the public would react. If you really want to redicule someone, a simple sentence or paragraph would be fine.

For Example:

"I can't believe I'm compared to Jude Law, I'm so much more handsome than he is" FULLSTOP

"That so-and-so blogger is such a slut." No need for further explaination.

If you're the one who likes to write alot:

"So-and-so thinks that I'm ugly. FUCK YOU LA Cibai you think you're so handsome ? No offense to Mr. Hunchback (i can't think of anyone else) but you're much uglier than him! If you think you're so hot and handsome, why do you still need to eat on others' and try to comfort yourself that you are a hunk? Such thoughts reflect your insecurity and I advice you to work on that or else turn out a 40-year-old virgin. Oh and by the way I am NOT nanananana" Imaginable imagination

And if you're asking me like
'Woah why you not angry meh other people talk
bad about your girlfriend like that'

I was angry, raged, cheebaied. But if you know my personality, I calm down easily and return to the sexually-deprived-humourous DJCK. I have chose to take this incident moderately lightly as it's just a post coming from a naive writer who thinks relationships are superficial. I am also not going to write on how I felt during my few minutes of cheebai moment when 's0-and-so-blogger' told me about it.

by the way.. those examples, were just examples, nothing real, all hypothetical.

-I can't forgive, but I can forget, and so should you-
