Day Two Hopping Around Singapore

Today was suppose to go to NUS to collect our pin for online application to NUS. The letter for the pin was originally sent to NUS. But knowing how 'efficient' our hostel was they sent the letters back. They can inform us before we left the hostel saying that you have say one week after your A Levels result come out to collect all your mail what... Sheesh. We passed by Dover and this was Singapore Poly. I remember when I first came to Singapore and we were heading West to Jurong, Chun Leen kept pointing 'SP SP SP!' I didn't know what SP was then... Haha now I know.

Initially I told Leong Hui to tell everyone that we were to meet at Clementi Station to board the but to NUS. But then we found out that it was easier to get to where we wanted to go via Buona Vista Station. Yi Chin kept saying about guys with bad directions... Hey I seldom come to the West ok? Haha...

NUS! Lovely NUS! Down with IMU haha

So we went all the way into NUS just to get a freaking letter containing 8 digits! Sounds like Alias haha. After that all of us (Jon, Charlie, Britts, Yi Chin, Shin Fei, Yat Sau) went to Bugis for lunch. Leong Hui and Eng Hooi were suppose to come but tak tau pergi mana hehe... ahem!

MOS oops MOE @ Buona Vista!

There is also the Biopolis @ Buona Vista. If you Malaysian Biotechs want to make it big in Asia, better get a job that has an office/lab here! It's the premier biotech region in SEA I can boldly say! Got interned there before under the Institute of Molecular and Cellular Biology, specialising in frogs!

This is HMV, where I buy all my ORIGINAL CDs... Suppport Intellectual Property! Down with Piracy! Haha..

Then Jon and I went to Orchard for Operation 'Mug' Hehe... Back in our Singapore days, we would go to Starbucks or Spinelli to Double Mug, with Walmond as well! The first mug is obviously to study, the second is to steal their coffee mugs after consuming their coffee! The first time was in Spinelli, and Walmond had no idea what was going on. So we went: 'Just go to MacD, buy something to take away, and get us a freaking plastic bag! Oh and tissues too! LOL

This was where Ops 'Mug' was done. I like this outlet, the greenery within the bustling city. If only KL or Subang had such a thing... We failed to mug though.

It's nice to munch a fried Old Chang Kee while walking along the streets of Orchard.

One thing I like about Singapore is their bus stops ads. You don't see this in Malaysia! No company would advertise anything too thanks to vandalism...

The Heeren Shops, for the metro and the chicks

This is Heeren's motto, Ahuh no doubt about it! Bet this is Miss Lai's and Gaya's motto too hehe...

Paragon, quite expensive outlets like Armani Exchange etc..

Another expensive place Ngee Ann City, where Takashimaya is

Wisma Atria, looks much better than the one in Damansara right? haha...

Lucky Plaza, famous place for Indons and Philippines to hangout during the weekends.

Wheelock Place, where I buy my IPOD Accessories!

Wheelock Place, wah stylo...

Tangs

After that most of us met up at Citylink Mall for dinner. All the miscommunication, where Shin Fei was going

'Argh We're in Bugis, don't want to go City Hall' then
'Oh we going City Hall now, meet you there'
'Where are you guys? Stop wasting my credit! (Like mine not wasted*)'

etc etc etc... You know it when Shin Fei just had a cup of coffee...

We had dinner at Nooch along Citylink Mall! The last time Britts, Jon and I came here. I ordered Thai Fried Flat Noodles then i.e. Char Koay Teow... Bitch KNS... So this time I ordered Green Curry Rice! Yum!

The interior of Nooch, looks expensive? Well not really! The colour changes every 3 minutes or so?
