Result Day Singapore.

The first night at Summer Tavern wasn't bad, although I couldn't get use to the fact that when one coin drops on the floor everyone would be disturbed. You see it was a backpackers style hostel, where everyone sleeps in one big hall full of double decks. We Malaysians came back quite late the night before to realise that the guai los actually slept much earlier than us!

Summer Tavern bed and breakfast along Carpenter Street, next to Safra Town Club and close to Clarke Quay.

The reception cum lounge cum lobby cum everything! The place doesn't look like those dirty sleezy bed and breakfasts you usually see on TV.

Ahuh no doubt about that down with Dunman Hostel! Haha

The First Nighters: Phang, Britts, Tiang Lim, DJCK

So off we went to the east to collect our results! I rarely used the North East Line so was kind of excited! The new stations are so big and spacious! But it was kind of empty though compared to City Hall and Orchard...

In Clarke Quay station. Everyone looked tired and nervous. Probably due to the late night drinking and walking around empty orchard in the wee mornings.

The MRT Peeps added something new to their announcements! Usually when the train reaches a stop (eg. Orchard Station), it would go:

"Dum dum... Orchard........ Orchard"

But now, it's"

"Dum dum... Orchard........ Orchard........ Please mind the platform gap"

So funny! What happened last year? Was there an increase in tripping due to the platform gap? Britts said it was just to make it sound more sophisticated. So next time it would go...

"Dum dum... Orchard........ Orchard......... Please mind the platform gap.... Doors Opening dadadadadada..... Have a nice day................. Doors closing dadadadadadada!" LOL

Was supposed to have a scholars lunch gathering at Bedok. Was all ready to sound Shin Fei for FFKing the Chalet plans. Instead the guys decided to head to Parkway Parade for lunch @ their food court! Parkway Parade reminds me of Subang Parade but better!

Wah NUS trying to be artsy got NUS Arts Festival, Lim Kok Wing do your thing!

We missed the usual bus stop to go to college, I guessed cause we were so panicked? Haha... Had to walk a biiiit further. That's the college on the right!

The hall was full of mixed feelings - disappointment, excited, nervous etc. I was boldly hoping for an AAAB because I thought Econs was the only subject I screwed. Mana tau it became AABB. I'm happy though! It was also funny to see so many guys wearing caps! Show off your head la! Many of them had to shave their hair off as they were doing their national service.

After getting our results, Shanta and I went to TCC along Eaat Coast Road. We ordered this Muddy Mud Pie or somehing. Nothing can beat the mud pie at Fridays and Chillis though!

After that went to Orchard to meet up with the girls who were hanging out at Crystal Jade Express. (L-R) DJCK, Leong Hui, Eng Hooi, Yi Chin, Yat Sau, Ken Yee, Jolene Setiawan

Then sent some people off who were heading back to KL ie. Wei Lim, Ken Yee and hiaopo Kai Lin

After that met up with the guys at Cafe Cartel Cineleisure!

Clarke Quay at night. Went clubbing @ Ministry of Sound. Word of advice: never go on Wednesdays when it is RETRO WED! Oh my god...

The anti gravity thing I was talking about! It cost Sing 35! Bah I'm doing it in KL man!
